Kelsey hesitated before speaking, her heartbeat accelerating to an excess speed as she took notice to the storm brewing up in Justin’s black eyes. “What are you going to do?” She whispered, her voice shaky, palms sweaty as she kept her hands folded together on her lap.
Clenching his jaw, Justin refused to look over at his torn girlfriend, afraid that if he did, he’d lose himself completely. Swallowing hard, Justin circulated the road in front of him, his eyes narrowed. Licking his lips, he let out a low chuckle, one that shoved a chill down Kelsey’s back, “I’m going to make sure he pays.”
